Playa del Carmen’s Hottest New Restaurant, Fuego Restaurante y Cantina, Now Open at Mahekal Beach Resort

Oceanfront dining is on fire at Mahekal Beach Resort. After months of anticipation, we’re excited to announce the opening of Fuego Restaurante y Cantina, the hottest new Playa del Carmen restaurant featuring Tulum-style Farm-to-Fork Mexican cuisine.

Under the direction and culinary expertise of Executive Chef Crescenciano Nerey, Fuego offers seasonal, locally-sourced fare prepared over open flame grill and a Tulum-style wood-burning oven for a fresh and vibrant take on classic Mexican cuisine. The newest Playa del Carmen restaurant proudly serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a laid-back setting for a relaxing meal with ocean views.

Sip on drinks and devour delicious entrees in an outdoor setting where a palapa-style roof and antique wood furniture embody the essence of Mexico: warm and inviting, yet casually sophisticated.

Breakfast: 7:30 am - 10:00 am
Lunch: 11:30am - 4:30 pm
Dinner: 7:30pm - 10:00pm (Reservations Required)
Bar Service: 11:00 am - 10:30 pm
Happy Hour:  5:00pm - 6:00pm Daily

Guests of Mahekal Beach Resort can enjoy Breakfast at Fuego as part of their meal plan.  For dinner, menu prices apply for Fuego, however, guests on the meal plan, may use a $25.00 USD per person credit; not applicable on beverages, towards the food portion cost of their meal.  As always, dinner can be exchanged for lunch, daily.  To exchange dinner for lunch, or to make dinner at Fuego Restaurante y Cantina, please see Guest Services.
